Inspired by life in the mountains of Hemsedal, Norway, where wet gear is part of everyday life, founder Bjørn Holte set out to design a dryer that could keep up with real families and outdoor adventurers. Hedgehog Dryer was founded by Bjørn Holte, a father who created the brand out of necessity. After relocating from New York City to snowy Hemsedal, Norway, following the sudden loss of his wife to cancer, Bjørn found himself solo parenting three small children (then ages 1, 3, and 5) – with wet boots, soggy mittens, and everyday messes piling up.
